Status Update

So what happened over the last months? For once I was in Peru and Chile for 4 weeks in the hope to reset my aging thought processes. Partly successful I continued to port BrainSharper to Mac OS X but failed badly because of errors in the Mac OS X API or MonoMac bindings.

Anyway, my long-term strategy for BrainSharper was to replace the rendering engine from WPF by OpenGL. So now I am building an (open source) rendering and texture composition engine with drawing support through GDI+ interfaces. After that I will try the full port to Mac OS X again.

I also started my first iOS project specifically for the iPad. And I am using C# and the MonoTouch bindings for that.

And from time to time, I am doing some bug-fixes for SharedSafe.
